Digital Service - How it works


Not long until Digital Service is conquering the market – high time to illustrate how Predictive Maintance and Remote Assistance can revolutionize the everyday life of a hardening shop.


To ensure that the Digital Service delivers what it promises, we have obtained prominent support. For about 1.5 years our Digital Service Team has been working closely with Microsoft to develop a reliable solution for Condition Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance - and we have succeeded! 

In this interview with Romeo Pruno, Digital Advisor and M&R Industry lead at Microsoft, you will learn how this solution works, what potential it offers and what makes it better than competing products.

See at a glance whether your furnace is running smoothly? No problem – with our "Digital Service". 

Your furnace is equipped with sensors at all relevant points and connected to our Digital Diagnostic Center. For example, the current consumption of the heating system is measured and the motor vibration is monitored. The data is evaluated in real time so that you are always up to date on the condition and performance of your furnace. You can access the data conveniently via tablet or smartphone - anytime and anywhere.  And should a deterioration of condition occur or maintenance be necessary, our service team will support you immediately. This enables us to act proactively together before unnecessary downtimes occur. This principle is called Predictive Maintenance and is the most important component of our "Digital Service". 

Our service becomes even more efficient - with the help of the latest technology!


We can already reveal that remote assistance will play a major role in our "Digital Service". This means that our service technicians are accompanied during a repair by their colleagues from the Digital Diagnostic Center via live video stream. They see what the technician sees, have all the information about your system at hand and can display it directly in his field of vision. This works with our Augmented Reality glasses - the Microsoft HoloLens.
