MTH, leader in heat treatment furnaces

In 1999 three furnace manufacturers being privately owned before or part of a group were integrated and merged to form the MetallTechnologie Holding(MTH). In the origin the MTH group consisted of B.M.I., France, MAHLER and SCHMETZ Germany. As part of its external growth policy the managers of the MTH group supported by financial investors set up this organisation with the objective to make MTH group the world leader in heat treatment industrial furnaces all technologies considered.

In 2005 the group was joined by IVA, Germany. They brought in their know-how and specialism in designing atmosphere furnaces and completed the existing range of furnaces of the group like before already with B.M.I. and SCHMETZ vacuum furnaces and MAHLER with continuous models.

During the end of 2008 two more companies were integrated into the group: Huisen-MTH based in Shanghai, China,specialised in designing and manufacturing of furnaces with controlled atmosphere and in batch treatment as well as RIVA, Polish entity of IVA.
